Jakob Wolters

Jakob is enthusiastic about the connection between architecture, contemporary history and (urban) politics. For him, being a guide is always an exchange with the participants and enriches him personally and professionally for his work in a young architectural office in Berlin-Moabit. There, he is primarily involved in ecological construction and alterations of existing buildings – often located in Berlin’s surroundings. It is important to him that guided tours become a collaborative experience and that the enthusiasm for what is seen is shared. He wants to make urban development and architecture speak as witnesses of their times – which is why he is particularly enthusiastic about buildings and ensembles from the beginning of the 20th century.
