Knud Kohlhof

Knud’s third foreign language is Plattdüütsch – but he hasn’t lived in his home town of Hamburg for a long time. He has lived in Paris and elsewhere for almost 15 years, both planning as an architect and sailing as a captain. Today, he is being put through his paces as a project manager of a renowned Berlin architectural practice. At the moment he is planning a very large residential building in Hamburg’s HafenCity. When Knud find’s time to hold guided tours, is comes as a great balance for him. Far away from the blockbuster of the Berlin architecture scene, he appreciates the special in the normal and to describe exactly that. For example a small addition in Prenzlauer Berg – delicate, light and almost exhilarating.
